Compact and affordable, the popular professional tube preamp TubePre V2 uses our popular XMAX Class A solid-state preamp, followed in the signal path by a 12AX7 vacuum tube stage. An amplification stage with two servos (without capacitors) allows you to raise the signal to a hot level without significantly increasing the noise. Discrete components and high-voltage operation provide a dynamic range and details not found in other single-channel tube preamplifiers in this class. The TubePre V2 is rugged enough for serious gigs and is ideal for both guitars and microphones.
