The Transient Designer is a dynamics processor with which the transient response can be designed. With only two controls, the attack can be amplified or reduced and sustain shortened or lengthened with almost any audio signal. The Transient Designer revolutionized dynamic processing. For the first time, the envelopes of audio signals can be processed independently of level. Transients can be accelerated or slowed, decay times can be extended or shortened. The Transient Designer offers unique processing possibilities in signal dynamics that cannot be achieved with conventional compressors.
