Warm Audio WA-76

The Warm Audio WA-76 is a modern replica of probably the best-known compressor ever, the Urei 1176. Thanks to the comparatively low price of the WA76, however, Warm Audio also manages to make the studio classic a "must have" for project studios without a professional budget. The ultra-fast attack times and the special, independent sound quickly made the 1176 the favourite of studio professionals worldwide at the end of the 1960s. Since then, it has been one of the absolute classics of the scene and continues to provide brilliant technical eyes and ears to this day. The WA76 is equipped with CineMag input and output transformers (Made in USA), which were already installed in the original - at that time still under the company name "Reichenbach Engineering".
