The 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads on the MPC KEY 61 are the same award-winning pads found on the MPC One. The built-in, assignable Touch Strip controller offers new ways to control, create, and interact with your own distinctive sounds. Influence the notes of your synth and lead sounds in Fabric XL, add a slight vibrato to your strings in Session Strings, or set the tempo of your organ's Leslie speaker and modulate the tremolo effect for a wide-ranging, natural and expressive sound.

MPC KEY 61 combines modern and classic studio features with an intuitive workflow. Connect up to 32 MIDI devices via USB with MIDI Multi, expand your audio I/O with 32 inputs and outputs using class compliant audio interfaces, or connect your vintage synthesizers via MIDI In/Out/Thru. 8 CV/Gate ports allow you to connect your modular accessories and more. Built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth allows wireless syncing with Ableton Link as well as MPC OS updates, and an additional SATA drive bay adds virtually unlimited storage for sounds and tracks.

Standalone production and vocal recording.
The MPC KEY 61 features an integrated 24-bit audio interface with high-end preamps and AD/DA converters. Individual gain knobs control the feed to the 6.3mm XLR/TRS combo inputs, including phantom power for condenser mics. 2 Main outputs, 2 Sub outputs and an additional headphone output expand the connection options even further. Record pristine vocals and process them with the built-in AIR Vocal Suite, or record guitars, basses or any other instrument and take advantage of the extensive recording and sampling capabilities.

DAW integration with MPC2 software
Get the most out of your MPC with the included MPC2 desktop DAW for Mac and PC, featuring increased track count and support for third-party AU/VST plug-ins. MPC2 is the optimal platform for limitless creative versatility with unprecedented precise control and integration with the MPC Key 61 system.
