As with Version S6, Version S3 provides intelligent control over every function of Pro Tools and other DAWs, but at a lower price. Its compact size makes it perfect for music and post-production in small rooms or on the road, while delivering powerful performance and accelerated mixing efficiency. This makes it the first choice everywhere, from project studios to the largest, most demanding facilities.

S3 combines traditional console design with the proven benefits of Pro Tools | S6 to ensure intuitive operation-regardless of your level of expertise. From arming, soloing, and muting tracks to editing plug-ins, retrieving snapshots, and automating mixes: Direct control lets you create great-sounding mixes in less time and with more precision than keyboard and mouse. When combined with Pro Tools, you'll also enjoy faster workflows and unique features that increase your efficiency every step of the way. • 16 channel strips, each equipped with touch-sensitive motorized faders and 10-segment signal level display

• 32 touch-sensitive encoders for panning, gain control, plug-in parameter adjustments and more (16 channel controls, 16 assignable), each with three-color LED function display

• 32 high-resolution OLED displays showing track names and numbers, detailed metering data (from mono to 5.1 surround), parameter names and values, the current automation mode and other information

• Solo, mute, channel selection and recording/automation buttons for each channel

• The touch strip provides easy access to transport controls; S3 can also be used with the Pro Tools Dock when you need full control with the Jog/Shuttle Wheel and iPad app
