Stage handheld microphone with 3/4" true condenser capsule

A top-of-the-line microphone for singers who either do not want to do without the quality of a studio condenser microphone live, or who simply feel more comfortable in the studio with a handheld microphone - which, by the way, happens more often than you might think!

The S1's mechanical construction is uncompromisingly robust. The satinized all-metal housing and heat-treated steel basket are virtually indestructible. The 3/4" capsule is elastically suspended, making the S1 extremely insensitive to handle noise. The feedback behavior is - even with loud monitoring - extremely uncritical due to the narrow supercardioid characteristic, as long as the monitors are placed to the side of the artist and not directly in front of him.

The voice box has a multilayer structure, which also acts as a pop filter and thus effectively defuses explosive consonants. The electronics also include a high-pass filter permanently in the signal path to eliminate low-frequency noise already in the microphone. The high limiting sound pressure level (151 dB) guarantees distortion-free transmission even with really loud vocals. In 2004, the S1 received the renowned "TEC-Award" for the best live microphone.

The S1 is supplied including stand clamp (RM1) and transport case (ZP1). It is manufactured by RØDE in Australia, registered users receive a 10 year warranty.
