Under its clearly structured user interface, Teenage Engineering's "Magic Radio" hides some exciting magic tricks: rewind briefly to remember the title of your new favorite song? Restart the radio play again or let the sports results be read out more slowly? Missed the news? No problem! The OB-4 stores all playback in a virtual 2 hour endless loop. This can be looped, time stretched and much more. The whole thing is as easy and intuitive to use as the old cassette recorder thanks to motorized controls.

The audio technology is also up to date and offers a crystal-clear, natural sound with room-filling bass thanks to the built-in 2-way stereo speaker system with 2×38 watt Class-D amplification and flow-optimized bass reflex channel. The built-in FM receiver, high-end Bluetooth, line-in and disc mode are available as sources. Here, as the next magic trick, new experimental functions are continuously developed for the OB-4, currently there are three sound loops in this mode:

Ambient: Drone sounds created by excerpts of a radio broadcast.
Metronome: high definition stereo recording, 1-800 BPM
Karma: 30 musical mantra loops as a spiritual companion

The cleverly designed carrying handle doubles as an incline for optimal listening and operating position and houses the smart FM spiral antenna. The OB-4 is also a great companion on the go, the built-in lipo battery provides enough power for a week of mobile music enjoyment or 8 hours of uninterrupted operation at maximum output volume of 100dB. The customized optionally available leather or nylon carrying cases ensure optimal protection with the greatest possible functionality.
