Waldorf Quantum MK2

From now on! With every pre-order you will get a Hans Zimmer Live in Concert CD ! Delivery from the end of January !

When Waldorf Music first unveiled the Quantum in 2018, it immediately found its way into the studios and hearts of the most renowned film composers, producers, musicians and sound designers. Now, five years later, its upgrade brings bold new features under the name "Quantum MK2".

With the new 61-key Fatar keyboard and polyphonic aftertouch, increased sampling memory of 59 GB and an improved design and display, the Quantum enters the next level. The new 3.0 firmware allows up to 16 digital filters or any combination with 8 analogue filters and an additional 8 digital.

What's new?

  • new FATAR TP/8SK keyboard with 61 semi-weighted velocity-sensitive keys and polyphonic aftertouch for more expressive possibilities

  • increased sampling memory to 59 GB

  • new 3.0 firmware with increased sonic bandwidth (16 digital filters or any combination of 8 analogue and 8 digital filters)

  • improved design and display

  • more than 1,000 pre-installed samples of 2 GB from sound designers like Richard Devine, Howard Scarr, Reinhold Heil, BT, Matt Johnson, Joerg Huettner, Kevin Schroeder, Sascha Dikiciyan, Kurt Ader, Mike Huckaby, Thorsten Quaeschning and many more. All sounds are compatible with Waldorf's Iridium instruments in both directions.

  • New synthesis functions and many features requested by musicians. Together with the Iridium firmware, the Quantum firmware forms a "Waldorf synthesis platform".
