RME Word Clock Module WCM

The Word Clock Module (WCM) provides a galvanically isolated word clock input and two word clock outputs (each with BNC connectors). The two outputs have their own driver modules and are extremely low in jitter. A pressure switch activates a termination with 75 Ohm for the high-impedance input. The SteadyClock on the PCI card guarantees excellent behavior in all clock modes. Due to the efficient jitter suppression, any clock signal can be cleaned, refreshed, and provided as reference clock at the two outputs.

The mounting is done comfortably via slot bracket, a slot on the motherboard is not required. The module is internally connected to the PCI card via the integrated 10-pin connector and is immediately ready for use. The drivers of the card are already prepared for operation with the WCM. Thanks to several control LEDs (operating voltage, termination, lock) and the highly integrated concept, installation, commissioning and application are simple and uncomplicated.
