Neil Peart Drums Vol. 1: The Kit is an expansion for BFD3 with samples of the Drum Workshop signature “Snakes and Arrows” kit of Rush drummer Neil Peart, recorded by producer Nick Raskulinecz.

Part of the Drum Masters series, the kit recreates Neil’s acoustic set as used live on tour and in the studio, with deep dynamics, humanised random alternating hits and discrete multiple mic mixing. Nick Raskulinecz engineered the sample sessions with over 20 channels of Neve mic preamps, vintage tube mics and multiple room positions. The set includes a 23-inch kick, two 14-inch snares, eight toms plus Sabian Paragon cymbals and cowbells, suited to many styles from progressive rock to heavy metal and playable from keyboards or e-drums.
