DeVerberate 3 introduces a new deep learning algorithm that removes room reverb from dialogue recordings fully automatically: trained on thousands of high-quality voice recordings in a wide range of acoustic spaces, the AI separates speech from reverb without manual settings, rescuing reverberant recordings without costly reshoots or ADR. For music and other sources, the proven algorithm from version 2 is retained, splitting the signal into direct and reverberant components that can be recombined freely, with adjustable level and decay time of the original reverb. An early reflections filter estimates and cancels them using statistical modelling, an emphasis filter with shelving and peak filters shapes the reduction across the frequency range, and EUCON as well as Pro Tools hardware controllers are fully supported.
