With this upgrade, owners of Acoustica 7 Standard move to Acoustica 8 Standard, the audio editor for editing, restoration and mastering with a redesigned interface and new spectral editing tools.

Version 8 brings a completely redesigned interface with a new launch page, a dockable Processing Tools pane and a fully customisable toolbar, plus new spectral editing tools: Find Similar locates regions with the same characteristics, time and frequency feathering is adjustable, Stereo View shows stereo placement in colour on the spectrogram, and AudioFill fills even larger gaps with natural-sounding results. Also new are DeHum 3 and DeNoise 3, the latter included as a lite version in the Standard Edition. The Standard Edition works in stereo at up to 384 kHz and offers multitrack editing, Remix for stem separation and the ARA2 plug-in for compatible DAWs.
