Flex Beat provides 16 performance pads with pattern presets, from DJ scratches to trance gates, which can be played in One Shot, Loop and Hold modes and also controlled via MIDI through the MIDI sidechain input. Launch quantization keeps patterns on the beat, while preset banks and a large library of pad presets with a preview function deliver fresh ideas fast. In the pattern editor you shape curves precisely with snap to grid, adjustable curve types and envelope tools, and presets can be imported and exported in the .fnv format compatible with Gross Beat. This makes Flex Beat a tool not just for beatmakers but also for sound design and effects in film, TV and games.
