The upgrade from Loom 1 to Loom II, the modular additive synthesizer with a shape-shifting Morph Pad, adding eight voices, new modules and 500 new patches.

Loom II builds on the original Loom with features requested by its users: eight voices, a Spectral Noise section that replaces or enriches the additive spectrum with a noise spectrum, two additional subharmonic partials below the normal spectrum, new Wave parameter options and more than 20 further enhancements. Four new modules are added: 5-Sines for organ and sine-style sounds, Discrete Adder for percussion-based synth instruments, Hype with dedicated Hi and Low controls, and Double Wave for complex synth patterns. The Morph Pad can now store and restore points and paths separately and offers an X-axis mode with snap and grid, while the 350 remastered original patches are joined by 500 new ones from Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden.
