BAE-1023 is a vintage EQ offering even deeper control over the mid and high frequencies, adding true analogue punch and detail to your productions whether you are tracking, mixing or mastering.

Compared with BAE-1073, BAE-1023 offers five additional frequencies in the mids and four in the highs: the highs are boosted or cut in shelving mode, while the mid band works in peaking mode and can be set directly against the low and high shelving EQs where they overlap. It is particularly useful for giving distorted guitars and female vocals extra power or adding air to overheads, and it works on individual instruments as well as whole mixes. The hardware original features the same hand-wired Carnhill transformers as its big brother, the BAE-1073, and Antelope built on everything learned from modelling the BAE-1073 and BAE-1084. The result adds depth, punch and width – everything you get when mixing through an analogue console.
