This plug-in recreates the 500-watt Laney Digbeth bass head with extreme accuracy, an acclaimed FET/valve bass amp for modern players looking for vintage sound.

Digbeth is the second plug-in from the partnership between Aurora DSP and Laney, letting bass players who already use the amp access it in the box and making it easy for newcomers to try it out for themselves. The FET and valve preamp channels can be mixed, while a three-band EQ with four mid-band modes and a bass dynamics section with sidechain shape the sound. A stomp section with four pedals in adjustable order, a cab section with three Laney cabinets and an array of mic options, and an FX section with EQ, maximizer and two limiters complete the chain. The output section offers a full 10-band graphic EQ and a limiter, and full parallel processing with adjustable section order adds further flexibility.
