A high-precision mastering tool that equalises music mixes automatically, guided by the era and style you select.

MagicEQ is based on a statistical analysis of the spectral content of hundreds of hits from all eras, carried out with DUY’s SAAE algorithm (Statistically Adaptative Automatic Equalization). You insert the plug-in, play your music and click LEARN: MagicEQ analyses the song and equalises it to come as close as possible to the era and style you have selected. You then tailor the result to your taste with a few simple adjustments, for example with the 5-band equaliser for a smooth tonal balance and the 4-band equaliser for added presence. The decisions stay with the engineer, but MagicEQ does the detailed work and helps against inaccuracies caused by monitoring, room acoustics or listening fatigue.
