A de-expander that boosts low-level signals below the threshold instead of reducing them, retaining and restoring the organic character of the material.

Pure DExpander magnifies the spatial information and lifts low levels by amplifying the signal below the threshold instead of reducing everything beneath it, resulting in a solid, louder signal without a harsh processed sound. Beyond ratio, attack and release, you have Envelope, Time and Detection settings at your disposal: attack, hold and release with manual, auto and advanced release modes, zero attack times thanks to a delay in the signal path and eight detection modes, including Feed Backward modes inspired by vintage hardware. Dynamic Factor and Dynamic Velocity let you set the amount and speed of variation of the extracted dynamics information. A three-band equaliser in the side chain enables frequency-sensitive processing.
