A 24-band dynamics processor plug-in built on the Bark scale, a psychoacoustic model of how humans actually perceive sound.

Rather than applying one dynamic gain change across the whole signal like a traditional compressor, Bark24 | Dyn offers independent Limit, Gate, Expand and UpComp processing across 24 perceptually tuned bands, so changes are easier to hear and more musical than with conventional multiband compression or dynamic EQ. As a problem-solver it tames resonances, corrects intermittent frequency-specific issues and tightens an overly busy mix bus; as a creative tool it adds body and bite to guitars and synths, pulls up low-level detail with upward compression, tightens drum busses and breathes new life into old stems and mixes. Auto Threshold, Gain and Output adapt to the incoming signal, several bands can be edited together as a group, and linear phase filters, three filter slopes, ±48 dB of gain per band, four metering modes with 3D visualisation, per-band Solo and Mute, MIDI control and a Wet/Dry mix complete the feature set.
