MAAT thEQblue12 - Download
A parametric equaliser that combines twelve idealised versions of analogue and new EQ designs in one plug-in – for recording, mixing and mastering.
For thEQblue, a wide range of respected hardware equalisers was analysed and recreated as idealised digital versions without the noise, distortion and other side effects of analogue circuitry, complemented by newly developed models. The twelve architectures – ten serial and two parallel – range from classic and vintage to modern and experimental, and because every bell filter is normalised identically at +6 dB and a Q of 0.71, the types can be compared directly. FiDef technology by FideliQuest is also built in, a psychoacoustic process that, according to MAAT, is designed to intensify how listeners experience the music. With sample rates up to 384 kHz and centre frequencies up to 80 kHz, thEQblue is also suited to high-resolution productions and game audio.
Features
- Twelve EQ architectures: ten serial and two parallel, from classic to unconventional
- Twelve Sections with bell filter plus first- and second-order shelf and cut filters

- Built-in FiDef processing by FideliQuest
- Six fMODES quantise the frequencies of all Sections, including Massive Passive and Maselec
