An entry-level plug-in for precise dithering that uses LINpro’s modern LIN engine for 16- or 24-bit delivery.

LINone focuses on the essentials: precise dithering with first-order noise shaping and triangular (TPDF) dither for 16- or 24-bit masters, calculated by the same engine as LINpro. According to MAAT, it is more accurate and better sounding than the dither built into several popular DAWs, and it is particularly well suited to Pro Tools. The plug-in handles mono and stereo tracks and offers auto-blanking, an automatic muting function that prevents background contamination. As with any dither, LINone belongs at the very end of the signal chain, just before conversion to the final fixed-point format.
