A virtual instrument built from sacred sound instruments that Mntra founder Brian D’Oliveira gathered on his many pilgrimages to holy sites around the world.

From ritual healing bells to pitched Aztec volcanic rocks, Mntra captured these special instruments with a leading-edge ultrasonic sampling process that lets you explore their complex harmonics with great depth and clarity. The sound designers’ presets span arpeggiated bell clusters, evolving atmospheric pads, cinematic percussion and much more, and just under the hood of the MNDALA 2 engine every sound can be sculpted further. Whether for ambient soundscapes, pulsing electronica, avant-garde explorations or massive cinematic swells, an interactive animated performance interface featuring a crystalline ocean and an emerging ephemeral being invites you to explore.
