A sample-based 8-string electric guitar instrument for lead, rhythm riff and even bass tracks in rock and metal, and thanks to its chording and strumming engine also for pop.

RealEight covers practically all sounds, articulations and techniques of an 8-string electric guitar, including mute, bridge mute, harmonics, pinch harmonics, sliding and scraping, controlled via key switches, pedal, velocity, mod wheel, aftertouch and MIDI CC. Every fret of all strings was recorded dry in 24-bit directly from the pickups of a custom handmade 8-string guitar, so you can create any desired sound with your favourite amp simulator, and more than 200 presets are available for the recommended open-source amp Guitarix.vst. You can play live from a MIDI keyboard, program parts in your DAW or use the built-in song sequencer with chord symbols and rhythm patterns, while patented chord voicing for 30 chord types produces authentic guitar shapes.
