Drum Tree is the flagship drum library from Premier Sound Factory: pre-mixed, pre-mastered drum kits in 96 kHz/24-bit, organised by musical style rather than by brand.

Drum Tree was created by sound engineer So Ichiro, drawing on a 20-year career: performed by expert drummers, recorded at Studio Dede in Tokyo and mastered at PREMIER Mastering Studio, the kits sound finished from the start, so you won’t need EQ or compression to fix them. Beneath the branches of the tree interface you will find the categories Greatest Hits with rock, pop and soul kits, Historic Jazz from big band to 60s jazz and Contemporary Jazz for modern and hip-hop jazz – 185 instruments in total with over 8,000 samples, including 41 snare and 67 cymbal variations. Up to 54 sample layers per key, round robins alternating between right and left hand, a humanising option, a sustain-pedal kick mode and rolls and ghost notes via soft pedal or key switches keep performances lively. In the dedicated mixer you can set output, level, pan, gate, tuning and low cut for each element, swap snares, hi-hats, cymbals and kits freely and add room ambience from two Studio Dede impulse responses.
