PIANO Premier KAWAI Legend is a super high-resolution 96 kHz/24-bit piano library for Kontakt featuring the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, Kawai’s top-of-the-line full concert grand piano.

Built by Kawai Musical Instruments Manufacturing as the ultimate model to win at world competitions, the SK-EX has an extremely delicate touch, producing a rich, luscious sound even when played softly, with a silky smooth bass and a treble that combines brightness with warmth. It is chosen by many top pianists and has won awards at prestigious competitions including the Chopin International Piano Competition; each soundboard is dried naturally for ten years, and processing and assembly are done by hand by specialised master craftsmen. The library also captures the harmonic resonance of the genuine SK-EX and offers Velocity+, which goes beyond the usual maximum velocity limit, the Max Voice Optimize System 2, half-pedal support, advanced NKS compatibility and an elegant convolution reverb.
