SideMinder ME2 is the advanced mastering version of SideMinder that widens and controls the stereo image in up to three bands while keeping it mono compatible.

Up to three independent bands of stereo width control, a Bass Narrow control and an “Advanced” section for fine-tuning the width limiter give precise control, while selectable input or output correlation metering plus stereo/mono and normal/delta outputs let you audition the processing quickly. SideMinder ME2 is not a compressor and does not affect the dynamics of your mix, only its stereo width: it adds no ambience but brings out the width already in the source material and can add a “3D” quality. An external sidechain input also reduces the stereo width of the source in response to increasing width of the sidechain signal – just as a sidechained compressor ducks the level, this lets you fit a signal into the mix width-wise.
