SubMassive generates low frequencies that do not exist in the source material, adding weight to kicks, bass, vocals and whole mixes – because you can’t EQ what isn’t there.

Just as harmonic exciters generate high end for sounds that lack it, SubMassive synthesizes low frequencies an octave below the source using a high-quality pitch-shift algorithm optimized for the low end. It uses the audio above the “Fill Below” threshold to generate new content below it that is harmonically related to the source and tightly coupled in transient accuracy, and the generated LFE signal can be set to lead or lag the source for unique sound modifications. Typical uses include huge low end in EDM mixes, extra mass for kick drums, snares and toms, fatter lead vocals, bass and guitars, an LFE channel for video post-production, and low-end time-shift effects.
