Advancer does the opposite of a delay, using your DAW’s latency compensation to shift tracks forward in time by up to 50 ms relative to the other tracks.

This lets you time-align distant microphones, correct skewed left and right tracks to bring the centre back to the centre, and brighten audio with frequency-dependent forward shifts. Creatively, you can produce ghost notes and flams on drums, doubling effects that anticipate the original sound, or extremely smooth “jet plane” flanging with full control over sweep speed and depth via DAW automation of two controls. A linear-phase crossover allows different time shifts for high and low frequencies, and on stereo tracks the shift can be applied to the full signal, the middle/centre only, the sides only, or just the left or right channel. Advancer shifts audio in sample-based steps and does not resample it, which could degrade sound quality.
