A multi-stage distortion plug-in with seven saturation characters, a Moog ladder filter and a feedback system, from subtle analogue warmth to total destruction.

Rave Distortion 2 offers seven saturation characters (Tube, Soft, Transistor, Diode, Digital, Vintage and Modern) and two independent distortion stages of up to 60 dB, each with its own dry/wet control and post-gain. A musical feedback system with tone control routes the signal from after the first distortion stage back to before the saturation, and a 4-pole Moog ladder filter with tempo-synced LFO shapes the sound further. Low-mid and high-mid peak filters, a low-frequency boost or cut at 30, 60 or 100 Hz, plus symmetry and DC bias controls for asymmetric distortion complete the tone shaping. Oversampling of up to 16x prevents aliasing while preserving transients, and the global dry/wet control allows parallel processing.
