The Olympus Symphonic Choir collection combines Mars Men’s Choir and Venus Women’s Choir into a complete symphonic choir with 63 professional singers.

Recorded under Maestro Robert Geary over 20 days at Montclair Presbyterian, high in the forested hills overlooking the San Francisco Bay, the collection features a 33-voice women’s chorus, a 30-voice men’s chorus and 8 soloists from the SF Symphony Chorus, SF Opera, SF Choral Society and Volti, singing in Latin and Slavonic. Two wide stereo microphone positions (close/stage and far/hall), blended from an array of 12 large-diaphragm Neumann microphones, make it easy to integrate into stereo and surround mixes. True legato vowels (Ah, Eh, Oh, Oo, Mm), tempo-synced polysustains, marcatos and staccatos with round robins, the Marcato word builder, a phrase builder for up to 16 custom sequences, choral effects such as shouts, sweeps and clusters, plus ambiences, drones and textures complete the package.
