DropZone lets you create classic DJ sounds and build your own scratch routines inside your DAW – without needing physical turntables.

You precisely control the virtual turntable’s position and fade to draw out different scratch patterns such as two-click flares or crabs, and because DropZone is based on the same architecture as Scratch Track, scratches sound and behave like traditional vinyl. Load up to five samples at once and set cue points so your scratches hit at exactly the right moment, while the waveform preview always shows where in the waveform you are scratching. Set up ten combinations of samples, cue points, scratches and fades to trigger quickly with a MIDI controller or mouse, and save all ten as a single preset to come back to later.
