WOW2 packs 21 analogue-sounding filters without aliasing into a compact interface, from a singing comb filter and a steep 8-pole low-pass to Diode MS and 030; every type also works in vowel mode with nine human vocal sounds. Modulation sources include an envelope follower with frequency detection, an LFO with 13 waveforms, a 16-step sequencer and the Wobble Generator taken from the Cyclop synth, and assignments are made by right-clicking any parameter. A distortion stage with seven algorithms, including three overdrives and four digital functions, can be placed before or after the filter and keeps the volume stable even at high levels. More than 250 presets and a randomise function provide quick starting points.
