A MIDI step sequencer with 18 lanes for melodies, chords and modulation that controls software and hardware synthesizers and comes with its own synth.

Thesys is a 32-step MIDI sequencer in which pitch, velocity and gate can simply be drawn, generated with the randomiser and mutate function or recorded straight from a MIDI keyboard. The Performance Sequencer controls octave, pitch bend, chords and note rolls per step, joined by up to eight CC modulation lanes; because each lane can run at its own length, patterns keep evolving. Up to 16 patterns can be chained in the pattern sequencer or triggered and transposed live from the keyboard, while the Action Section applies effects such as looping, half-time, re-trigger and tempo break in real time. MIDI out and drag-and-drop MIDI export send the sequences to other instruments, to hardware or straight into the DAW.
