A chord sequencer and arpeggiator that turns your chords into melodies, basslines and harmonies played by up to three instruments at once.

At the heart of Consequence is a 32-step sequencer that draws on a palette of 16 user-defined chord snapshots and switches per step between chord and arpeggio, octave and tie. Up to three sample-based instruments can be loaded and triggered independently as chords or arpeggios; each has its own ADSR envelope plus Age and Crush controls to counter sterile-sounding samples. The exclusively created sound library ranges from sought-after synths such as the Memorymoog and OP-1 to strings and percussion, complemented by multi-effects, a master compressor and a 4/4 kick drum as a groove reference. Via MIDI out, Consequence also drives external hardware and software synths, and sequences can be exported as MIDI by drag and drop.
