The wavetable synthesizer in the tradition of the legendary PPG Wave, extended with innovations from the Waldorf Microwave and more than 100 new wavetables by Wolfgang Palm.

The Waldorf Microwave was once inspired by the PPG Wave, with personal input from Wolfgang Palm; now Waldorf brings some of the Microwave innovations back to the PPG Wave 3.V, building a bridge between the past and present of wavetable synthesis. Each voice uses two wavetable oscillators with sample playback at 8, 12 or up to 32-bit resolution, an authentic emulation of the PPG Wave aliasing and filter, and a 12 or 24 dB low-pass filter. True PPG mode switches between PPG Wave 2.2, 2.3 and 2.V, while eight parts with poly, dual, quad and mono modes create chords or melodic lines. New features include editing and importing your own wavetables, additional factory wavetables, the Mutator patch randomiser and a resizable interface.
