With NERO, Audient presents its first monitor controller in desktop format. With its numerous inputs & outputs, flexible routing options and the usual high quality standard, NERO is the centre of every demanding home & project studio.

On the input side, NERO offers a variety of different connection options, including two stereo line inputs (6.3 mm jack), an aux input (3.5 mm stereo jack / stereo RCA) for quick connection of, for example, smartphones or CD players, and a dedicated cue mix input. For instructions from the control room and for communication with fellow musicians, NERO is equipped with a built-in talkback microphone, which can alternatively be replaced by a wired microphone via XLR input

The control centre for demanding mixing sessions provides stereo outputs for up to three pairs of speakers and an independent, switchable subwoofer output. Unlike most monitor controllers on the market, Audient's unique Precision Matched Attenuation technology ensures that the left and right speakers are at exactly the same volume, resulting in an unaltered stereo image. In addition, NERO offers four high-quality headphone outputs that deliver a clear, distortion-free signal even during the loudest live recordings.

With "Smart Touchpoints" the Brits offer an extremely well thought-out layout. Despite countless options for routing individual input and output signals, it ensures a convenient and intuitive workflow that allows users to create complex routings "on the fly" during the session according to their own preferences with just a few keystrokes and then save them as presets. The operation of the monitor controller thus becomes a habit in no time at all, allowing you to concentrate fully on the mix.
