Reamp box and instrument preamp

The Reamper is an analog routing hub for guitar amps, pedals, synths and studio gear. It sends dry DAW tracks through real amps for re-amping and records tube amps up to 50 W at 8 ohms silently via its built-in power soak; an impulse response (IR) in the DAW is required for this.

• Two independent signal paths: instrument preamp and re-amp
• USA-made CineMag transformers on the inputs and outputs of each signal path
• Switchable input stage: discrete JFET or JFET op-amp
• Instrument input with variable impedance (120 kohms to 1 megohm), max. input level +18 dBu
• Separate level controls for Preamp Out and Reamp Out, stepless from attenuation to gain
• Balanced line inputs and outputs on XLR and 1/4-inch jack, no phantom power required
• Amp In for an amplifier's speaker output, with Thru to a cabinet or built-in power soak (8 ohms, max. 50 W)
• Do not connect bridged amplifier outputs; use more powerful amps only with a speaker cabinet on Thru
• Phase invert and ground lift
• Thru jack and instrument output for pedals and amplifiers
• Internal universal power supply with IEC mains inlet
• Rugged metal chassis with decoupled heatsink for the power soak
