An expansion for BFD3 featuring a high-end, custom hand-made kit from XDrum’s Xotica line.

The drums have 6-ply Keller maple shells with an additional ply of Sapeli Pommele running vertically for a focused low end, and the hand-applied tung oil finish offers a very open tone. The kick was recorded with two beater types and a Yamaha SubKick mic for extreme low end, while the toms were played with sticks, mallets, brushes and rods. A bonus Ludwig snare taken from BFD Jazz and Funk is included, and the kit was recorded in the same room and studio conditions as BFD Jazz and Funk, BFD Percussion and the Mapleworks kits in BFD3.
