A collection of five premium metal-shell snare drums for BFD3, desired for their brighter, louder sound with increased overtones.

The five snares from Sonor, Gretsch, Zildjian, Ludwig and Pearl differ in material, shell thickness, depth and diameter, from brass and bronze to steel and aluminium, offering a wide array of sounds for metal, rock, pop and other genres. Each snare was played with sticks, captured with wires on and off and delivered in a natural version and two processed, mix-ready variations with huge sounds that punch through the mix. Two top mics, one bottom and one side mic, mono room, ribbon room and far room ambience channels and two stereo reverb channels give you plenty of options, and you can add other drums from your BFD libraries to create your own kit.
