The second instalment of Yamaha artist signature snares for BFD3: five detailed and immaculately recorded snares with varied beater types to swap into your kits.

BFD Signature Snares Vol. 2 comprises five Yamaha snares: the Steve Gadd signature model with a brass shell, a Chamberlin snare with a steel shell, the birch Robinson signature model, the Paul Leim model with a chrome-over-brass shell and the brass Garibaldi signature model. They were recorded at Omega Studios in conditions similar to BFD Percussion and the Mapleworks kits in BFD3. The snares work well with any combination of other BFD library sounds, offering a punchy and upfront sound with dynamic playability. In BFD3 they also offer a rim click articulation and a half-edge articulation for electronic drum positional sensing.
