aXMonitor decodes Ambisonic scenes of up to tenth order to binaural for immersive listening over headphones and loads custom HRTFs for personalised rendering.

Support for the SOFA format lets you load customised HRTFs for a personalised listening experience. aXMonitor also decodes first-order signals to stereo loudspeakers and converts to stereo or UHJ “super stereo”, so you can distribute your immersive audio content via more traditional formats and media. This makes it the monitoring decoder for Ambisonic productions, for example after an encoder such as aXPanner.
