Products from SSA Plugins

aXBundle brings together all of SSA Plugins’ aX plug-ins to give you an end-to-end signal chain for immersive and spatial audio in Ambisonics up to 10th order. aXPanner converts mono and stereo signals to Ambisonics in a simple and intuitive way, while aXMonitor decodes the scene to binaural for headphones and loads custom HRTFs for personalised rendering. In between,...

aXMonitor decodes Ambisonic scenes of up to tenth order to binaural for immersive listening over headphones and loads custom HRTFs for personalised rendering. Support for the SOFA format lets you load customised HRTFs for a personalised listening experience. aXMonitor also decodes first-order signals to stereo loudspeakers and converts to stereo or UHJ “super stereo”, so you...

aXRotate rotates and aligns Ambisonic scenes of up to tenth order right inside your DAW and supports head-tracking via the OSC protocol. Because Ambisonics allows all sources in a sound field to be rotated at once, aXRotate efficiently rotates even scenes with a large number of sources – around three axes in the order yaw, pitch and roll. A head-tracker connected via OSC...

aXCompressor controls the dynamics of Ambisonic signals up to tenth order without damaging their delicate spatial balance. The compressor offers all the parameters of a standard dynamic range compressor and is used exactly like a stereo compressor. It processes the Ambisonic signal without harming the spatial features of your scene, so you can tame the dynamics of immersive...

aXDeesser removes sibilance from Ambisonic recordings and can be used on any Ambisonic signal in AmbiX format (SN3D/ACN). The plug-in works like a traditional de-esser, but the sibilance band compression can be side-chained by pointing a virtual microphone at any point in your immersive scene. You select the direction to focus on, so the compression is only triggered when...

aXPanner converts mono and stereo signals to high-resolution Ambisonics up to 10th order, the starting point for your immersive production. As an Ambisonic encoder, aXPanner gives you control of the azimuth and elevation of the sound source as well as the width between the stereo input channels. Two interfaces – equirectangular and top-down – make it easy to place your sound...

aXDelay is a five-module Ambisonic delay effect with feedback and freely placeable echoes – from subtle room-like effects to psychedelic creativity. Each of the five delay modules can be rotated and placed individually, so you can position the echoes in any direction for full creative control of the immersive scene. Feedback, level and delay time are set separately for each...

aXEqualizer is an 8-band EQ that lets you sculpt the tone of Ambisonic signals up to tenth order without harming their delicate spatial balance. The EQ is designed specifically for efficient processing of Ambisonic signals, and you work with it just as you would with a stereo EQ. This lets you adjust the spectral balance of your immersive productions while maintaining the...

aXGate is a gate and downward expander that controls the dynamics of Ambisonic signals up to tenth order without damaging their spatial balance. The plug-in offers all the parameters of a standard noise gate and is used exactly like a stereo gate. This lets you clean up your Ambisonic recordings and signals while keeping the delicate spatial balance of the scene intact....
