MTRX DigiLink I/O Card

The DigiLink I/O card adds two primary mini DigiLink ports to the Avid Pro Tools modular MTRX interface. This turns an MTRX interface into a hub for a studio with multiple Pro Tools systems, or into a central, single interface for an HDX 3 Pro Tools system.

The MTRX base unit comes standard with two DigiLink connectors, allowing 64 I/O channels, enough for an HDX 1 system. For users with a multi-HDX system or a configuration of multiple Pro Tools workstations, more than 64 DigiLink I/O channels are needed. Until now, these larger systems had to be implemented with multiple I/O devices to provide enough DigiLink-based I/O for all the HDX cards.

The 64-channel DigiLink card overcomes this limitation with the Pro Tools MTRX. Pro Tools Ultimate can now connect a single MTRX to multiple HDX cards. You can install up to 6 DigiLink I/O cards in an MTRX base unit, connecting multiple Pro Tools workstations to a single MTRX interface. This makes MTRX the heart for all audio I/O, routing including Dolby Atmos workflow, monitoring, and speaker management, all in a single device.
