The discrete preamps have been redesigned in collaboration with Trevor Stride (SSL, Focal, etc.) and offer additional gain and fantastic sound with some new tricks. In addition to 6 standard Mic/Line inputs including XLR combo jacks and phantom power, 2 more Retro/Super Channels with variable HMX Mosfet Saturator and Vintage Iron Transformer Drive are available for true "Best of British" Retrosound.

2 discrete JFET D.I inputs are ideal for electric guitar, keyboard or bass, offering the same distinctive audient sound that has already earned the iD22 and ASP880 a large worldwide fan base. Its outstanding 118 dB Burr Brown converters guarantee the best possible conversion of all signals with incredible detail. Its digital output in ADAT format including SMUX allows the operation of up to 8 channels even at 96 kHz, making the ASP800 the perfect addition to existing recording setups such as audient iD22 or iD14 and bringing every session to world class level.
