A faithful recreation of the sought-after 1950s vari-mu tube compressor that defined the sound of the golden age of rock ’n’ roll. For Tubechild 670, Antelope Audio took a well-preserved Fairchild 670 apart, measured every component from its 20 carefully matched valves to its 14 vintage transformers and recreated all the unique non-linear relationships of its internals in...

A recreation of the 176 vari-mu tube compressor, a studio staple since the 1960s that is based on technology long out of production. Tube 176 can tread lightly, but when pushed to its limits it can also brickwall your sound; its tube design guarantees warm harmonic saturation whatever the amount of compression, so it always sounds rich and musical. It works especially well...

A chorus effect that combines classic-sounding modulation with modern audio processing tools to explore new territory in sound design and music production. At the heart of V12 Chorus is a voicing generator that creates up to 12 different voicings from the source material, with separate control over the time between them, their tuning and the number of repeats. A Colorize...

A three-band EQ modelled on the EQ module of a classic 1960s British console used on recordings by The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Bob Marley. UK-69 preserves transparency while adding space and presence. The bass band offers either a stepped 50 Hz shelf or a frequency-selectable peak EQ, the treble band is a fixed 10 kHz shelf, and the mid band provides a...

A tribute to one of the very first guitar effects, combining vintage-sounding modulation with expanded controls, an enhanced workflow and modern plug-in design. Vari-Speed Tremolo offers a fresh and versatile take on the iconic sound of vintage tremolos. Its five-position Wave Selector and the added Vari-Speed Rate knob open up wide tone-sculpting potential: by adjusting how...

BAE-1023 is a vintage EQ offering even deeper control over the mid and high frequencies, adding true analogue punch and detail to your productions whether you are tracking, mixing or mastering. Compared with BAE-1073, BAE-1023 offers five additional frequencies in the mids and four in the highs: the highs are boosted or cut in shelving mode, while the mid band works in...

BAE-1073 is based on a legendary three-band hardware EQ that became a studio staple thanks to its rich, warm sound, with a high-pass filter ahead of the EQ bands for tracking and mixing alike. BAE-1073 is famous for its warm, musical sound and is often used on vocals and drums, yet it works its magic on any source. Antelope meticulously measured and studied the behaviour of...

BBD-Chorus brings back the vibrant vintage mojo and inimitable organic warmth of the classic 1970s bucket brigade chorus unit – for guitars, mixes and sound design. The model is the Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble from 1976, whose thick, organic modulation and pitch-shifting vibrato shaped the guitar sound of the late 1970s. Antelope measured and emulated the non-linear response...

BAE-1084 is one of the most versatile EQ channel strips: known for its massive lows and smooth high end, it gets the best out of kick drums, guitars and synth bass lines. Inspired by a highly sought-after vintage console channel strip EQ, BAE-1084 stands for a big, fat sound with massive lows and smooth highs, and it offers extended control over the frequency range. Even...

BX3 is a three-band dynamics compressor that shines especially in mastering, yet is versatile enough to come in handy during mixing as well. Whether you want to subtly glue an already great-sounding track, tighten the low end of drum-heavy music or tame excessive high frequencies, BX3 is Antelope’s own take on multiband compression. Each of the three bands for low, mid and...

Blonder Tongue Audio Baton is a faithful emulation of a rare all-tube graphic equaliser from 1959, bringing its signature musical sound into the 21st century. In sound, the Audio Baton compares favourably with the other great equalisers of its era – think of a cross between the rare Altec 9073A “Motown” graphic EQ and the famed Pultec tube-amplified make-up gain stage. Seven...
